Note: A network reset will only re-broadcast the default Haiku Wi-Fi network. All your product names, rooms, events, and other settings will not be changed.<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. Press and hold a power button (fan or light) on the remote for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the blue LED indicators will blink.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Within 30 seconds of the LED indicators blinking, press the (plus) button on the remote. The fan will beep, and its LED indicators will blink rapidly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. When the LED indicators stop blinking, the network reset is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        If the above sequence doesn\u2019t work, bring your fan to a complete stop and try the following:<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. On the remote, press the following button sequence: Whoosh, Whoosh, Clear, Timer, Fan On\/Off.<\/li>\n
        2. You will hear a beep after pressing each button, indicating that the fan received the command. Note: the fan will only beep if fan beeps were not turned off.<\/li>\n
        3. When the network reset is accepted, the fan\u2019s blue indicator lights will form a circle. Check your mobile device\u2019s Wi-Fi settings to make sure the fan\u2019s network is now visible.<\/li>\n
        4. After a network reset, your fan\u2019s custom settings (preferences, schedules, etc.) are retained.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          BEFORE SETTING UP THE APP<\/h2>\n

          1. Obtain your Wi-Fi router SSID (network name) and password<\/b>. If you do not have a Wi-Fi network or you do not want to connect your Haiku products to your network, you can use the app to turn a Haiku product into a Wi-Fi access point. See Setting Up Your App<\/em> below for instructions. Note:\u00a0Haiku product Wi-Fi access points do not have an internet connection.<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Install and test your Haiku products<\/b>. Make sure your products are receiving power.\u00a0Use the provided remote to test fan and light functionality. See their respective installation guides for instructions on installing your product.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              SETTING UP YOUR APP<\/h2>\n

              IOS DEVICES:<\/h3>\n

              1. Download the Haiku App<\/b><\/a> to your iOS device.<\/b><\/li>\n
              2. Open the app.\n
                  \n
                1. If this is your first time using Haiku, create an account.<\/li>\n
                2. If you already have a Haiku account, sign-in, tap \"\", and tap Add a Product<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                3. On the Let\u2019s Set Up Your Product!<\/i> screen, tap Let\u2019s Go<\/b>.<\/li>\n
                4. Make sure your Haiku product is installed and powered on, then tap Next<\/b>.<\/li>\n
                5. When you see the Connect to Your Device<\/i> screen, go to your device\u2019s Settings app and navigate to Wi-Fi settings. Your Haiku product\u2019s default network will appear in the list of available networks, and it will begin with the word Haiku<\/i> (e.g. Haiku_L_AA:BB:CC<\/i>).<\/li>\n
                6. Tap on the Haiku product\u2019s Wi-Fi network and wait for the Wi-Fi symbol to appear in the status menu at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n
                7. Return to the Haiku Home app.<\/li>\n
                8. Tap Set It Up,<\/b> and follow the instructions\u00a0to name your fan and assign it to a room.<\/li>\n
                9. On the Connect Your Device<\/i> screen, select I Have a Wi-Fi Network<\/b> if you have an existing network in your home.<\/li>\n
                10. If you don\u2019t have a Wi-Fi network, click here<\/a> to learn about setting up an AP network.<\/li>\n
                11. On the next screen, select your Wi-Fi network from the list.<\/li>\n
                12. Enter your Wi-Fi password, and tap Next<\/b>.<\/li>\n
                13. When the Haiku product successfully joins your network, you will see a Congratulations!<\/i> message.\n

                    Tap Add Another Device<\/b> to connect other Haiku products to your home network.<\/p>\n

                    Tap Finished Adding Devices<\/b> if you don\u2019t have any more Haiku products to connect right now.<\/p>\n
