EA Credit 2: Optimize Energy Performance (EA Credit 1 in LEED 2009)

EA Credit 4: Demand Response (LEED v4 only)
Translation: Don’t be too demanding of the power grid.
EA Credit 6: Enhanced Refrigerant Management (EA Credit 4 in LEED 2009)
Translation: That whole climate change thing? Quit contributing to it.
INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
EQ Prerequisite 1: Minimum Indoor Air Quality Performance
Translation: Fresh air! You need it!
EQ Credit 1: Enhanced Indoor Air Quality Strategies (EQ Credit 2 Increased Ventilation in LEED 2009)
Translation: Dilution is the solution to indoor pollution.
EQ Credit 5: Thermal Comfort (EQ credit 7.1 in LEED 2009)
Translation: Sweating is for gyms. Shivering is for people doing the polar plunge. Let’s go for a happy medium, please.
EQ Credit 6: Interior Lighting (EQ Credit 6.1 in LEED 2009)
Translation: Get your projects out of the dark ages with quality lighting and smart controls.
INNOVATION IN DESIGN
IN Credit 1: Innovation in Design
Translation: Try something new, we double-dog-dare you. Or you can blow away the requirements for another credit—your choice.
REGIONAL PRIORITY CREDITS
RP Credit: Regional Priority
Translation: Get bonus points based on where you live! Is it really, really hot outside? More points for you.

Health & Happiness Petal: Imperative 08 Healthy Indoor Environment Complies with ASHRAE Standard 62
