Maintenance
Replace media every 1–3 years depending on water quality and usage. Allow media to dry out completely once every 24 hours to prevent algae growth, and inspect weekly for bowing, sagging, or dry streaks. More frequent replacement may be needed if media becomes heavily stained with minerals or is damaged.
