Our range of designer Haiku ceiling fans are engineered using premium materials and finishes intended to withstand the test of time. Haiku by Big Ass Fans started with a direct-drive motor that offers infinite speed control but runs at no more than a whisper level. Our engineers then scrapped cheap particle-board blades in favour of reliable aerodynamic aerofoils crafted from premium materials.
Finally, we ditched the pull chain and developed easy-to-use smart home sensors that give you even greater control over your comfort.

In our quest to understand airflow, we invested in a 4,180-square-meter research lab at our US headquarters – the world’s first and only facility of its kind specifically designed to test fans.
