WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED OR SHORT PIECES?

Once you sign for your order at the delivery point, ownership of the shipment transfers to you and our liability ends. To protect yourself from loss or damage, please follow these steps:

  1. Inspect Immediately: Check your shipment for any freight loss or damage before signing for it.
  2. Note Discrepancies: Clearly note any issues, such as “1 carton damaged” or “1 carton short,” on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves.
  3. Obtain Documentation: Get a copy of the signed delivery receipt that includes the notation of any freight loss or damage.
  4. Document the Issue: Take pictures of the damage or loss if possible and retain all packaging materials until the matter is resolved.
  5. Contact Us: For assistance, reach out to Big Ass Fans Customer Service at +65 6709 8500.

If freight loss or damage is not noted at the time of delivery, you will need to address claims directly with the freight carrier. Any replacement of the product will be at your expense.

 

 

RETURN POLICY

To return a product to Big Ass Fans, please adhere to the following conditions:

  1. Notification: Notify Big Ass Fans of your intent to return the product within 30 calendar days from the delivery date of your original order.
  2. Return Shipment: Ship the product back within 10 business days after receiving your Return Material Authorization (RMA).
  3. Restocking Fees:
    1. Unopened Products: A 25% restocking fee will be applied.
    2. Mobile or Portable Products: A 25% restocking fee will be applied.
  4. Non-Refundable Products: Products that have been opened, installed or sold with a custom paint or appearance package are final sale and non-refundable.
  5. Additional Fees:
    1. Products returned with missing components, damaged in transit, or modified in any way may incur additional service and/or parts replacement fees.
    2. These fees will be based on the actual material and labor costs needed to repair the product, replace missing or modified parts, and restore the product to its original factory condition.

Conditions of Exchange

  • Big Ass Fans must be notified by the customer of the return within 90 calendar days of the delivery date on the original order. The product being returned must be shipped back within 10 business days of the receipt of the Return Material Authorization by the customer.
  • Items must be unused, unopened and in the original packaging, which must be in the original condition, including sealed boxes.

  • Customers will be charged a restocking fee for exchanges which is 10% of the total sale. If the item is returned not in its original state, the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
  • Products that have been installed OR sold with a custom paint or appearance package are final and non-refundable.
  • An additional service fee and/or parts replacement fee may be applied for any product that is returned with missing components, damaged in shipment, or that has been modified in any way. Such fees and charges will vary based upon the actual material and labor costs necessary to repair the product, replace missing, or modified parts, and to return the product to its original factory condition.

Process for Returns & Exchanges

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to Big Ass Fans Customer Service at +65 6709 8500 or submit an online request to initiate the return or exchange process.
  2. Return Authorization: Once your return eligibility is confirmed and restocking fees are calculated, Customer Service will provide you with a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number and the address for returning the product.
  3. Return Shipping:
    1. Responsibility: You are responsible for shipping the product back, including all insurance, freight, and other transportation charges.
    2. Packaging: Ensure the product is properly packed to prevent damage during transit.
    3. Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the returned funds. This fee applies to all returned products, including mobile or portable products.
  4. Inspection: Upon receipt of the returned item, Big Ass Fans will inspect it to verify that it is undamaged and complete.
  5. Credit Processing:
    1. The credit will be applied to the balance of the billing account used for the purchase.
    2. If the account balance is less than the refunded amount, the remaining funds will be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase or a check will be mailed to the billing address on the order.
  6. Final Decision on Returns and Exchanges: The decision made by Big Ass Fans regarding returns and exchanges will be final. Big Ass Fans reserves the right to make final determinations at its sole discretion.

WARRANTY RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Contact Customer Service at +65 6709 8500 to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number
  2. Please use the return label supplied by your Customer Service associate. The return shipment address is:

  3. Use the packaging for the replacement part to return the original part. The RMA number must appear on the outside of the packaging.

BIG ASS FANS CANCELLATION POLICY

Conditions:

  1. Restocking Fee: If a standard order ships from Big Ass Fans’ facility before a cancellation request is processed, a 25% restocking fee will apply, along with the original shipping fee and any additional charges such as reconsignment fees.
  2. Standard Orders: Orders can be cancelled without penalty up to five (5) business days after receiving the Sales Order Acknowledgment, provided the product has not already shipped. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
  3. Custom Orders: Products with custom paint, appearance packages, or special engineering are non-cancellable after twenty-four (24) hours from receipt of the Sales Order Acknowledgment.

How to Cancel Your Order:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out directly to your salesperson or contact Big Ass Fans using the phone number provided on your Sales Order Acknowledgment. Have your Sales Order Acknowledgment handy when calling (this document was emailed to you as soon as the order was processed).
  2. Cancellation Confirmation: Once your cancellation eligibility is confirmed and any applicable fees are calculated, Big Ass Fans will provide written confirmation of the processed cancellation in our database.
  3. Final Decision on Cancellation: The decision made by Big Ass Fans regarding returns and exchanges will be final. Big Ass Fans reserves the right to make final determinations at its sole discretion.
