Fan is wobbling
Your HVLS fan is wobbling at any speed? Follow these troubleshooting steps.
- Lockout and tag out the fan until troubleshooting is complete.
- Verify the fan is installed using a standard mounting method. If not, ensure there is approval from a structural engineer for the mounting method.
- Check that the fan is hanging plumb and horizontally level.
- Check that all mounting bolts and blade bolts are properly installed and torqued.
- Verify the airfoils are all at the same level — ensure one blade or more is not higher or lower at the tip than the others.
- If all of the above is correct, install guy wires.
