Haiku Low Profile Mount Wobble

1. Make sure the sticker color on each airfoil matches the corresponding sticker color on the fan hub!

NOTE: If multiple fans were installed, make sure the Serial Number on the blade sticker matches the Serial Number of the large label on top of the motor. If blades were mixed when installing more than one unit, the fans will wobble.

2. Blades should be hand tightened and fit evenly within the ridges on the motor housing. If a blade is loose or over tightened, it will “pop” up slightly and the blades will not present a uniform distribution between the blade separation ridges.

3. Only a metal junction box marked “Approved for ceiling fans” and/or “Rated for 75 lbs” as required by The National Electric Code.

4. The junction box must be securely mounted to a ceiling joist, wood block, or adjustable brace.

5. The junction box must be flush with the ceiling surface.

6. The junction box should be clear of plaster and sheetrock tape to present a smooth and even mounting surface.

7. The Mounting Plate must be tightly attached to the junction box and level. The Mounting Brackets attached to the Mounting Plate should be tightly attached and level.

8. Rubber bumpers must be installed on both Downtube Brackets.

9. Fans located above or below HVAC air discharge or intake will experience wobble and/or noise. The minimum distance between the fan and air intake/discharge should be equal to the fan's diameter. A 52 inch fan should be mounted 52 inches from the HVAC intake or discharge.

10. The tip of the blades should have a minimum of 2 feet clearance from walls, beams, or other obstructions.
