Fan is making a noise or wobbling

Is your fan making noise and/or wobbling? Follow these troubleshooting steps.

• Confirm Mounting & Structure
  1. Verify that the mounting bracket is tight to the structure.
  2. Check that the mounting surface (steel beam, joist, purlin) isn’t flexing.
  3. If ceiling-mounted, confirm there are no missing bolts.
• Check Blade Tightness & Alignment
  1. Power OFF and locked out.
  2. Check all blade-to-hub bolts.
  3. Confirm all blades sit at the same pitch.
• Speed-Related Noise?
  1. If you only hear the noise at low speed, this indicates motor hum, which is acceptable.
  2. If you only hear noise at higher speeds, make sure the blade is securely on the fan motor shaft.
  3. If the noise is present at all speeds, there could be an issue with the motor shaft. Contact Customer Support.
