Fan is wobbling

Your Pivot fan is wobbling at any speed? Follow these troubleshooting steps.

1. Turn the breaker OFF until troubleshooting is complete.
2. Verify the fan is installed in a standard mounting method. If not, please ensure there is approval from a structural engineer for the mounting method being used. See the installation guide for mounting details.
3. Check that the fan is hanging plumb and horizontally level. Loosen the highlighted bolts shown in the example below, allow the center of gravity to shift now that the fan is mounted in place, retighten, and test.
4. Check that all mounting bolts and airfoil/airfoil restraining bolts are properly installed and torqued to ft/lb specifications. See the installation guide for details.
5. Verify the airfoils are all at the same level — that one blade is not higher or lower at the tip than any others. If the spar tab that the airfoil mounts to is bent, a new motor will be needed.
6. If all of the above is correct, install guy wires.
