Fan Not Turning On
If your Haiku L is not turning on or the remote is not controlling the fan, the first thing to do is to reseat the light kit. The light kit is what receives input from the remote, and if it is not properly installed in the fan, it can cause the fan to act erratically in various ways.
- Power off the fan at the switch or breaker.
- Remove light - quarter turn counterclockwise.
- Power On fan - WARNING - the fan may spin when power is restored. Allow 30 seconds for the fan to fully boot up.
- Power off the fan at the switch or breaker.
- Reinsert the light, aligning the Yellow Arrow on the bottom of the Light Kit with the Yellow Arrow on the hub of the Fan motor and turning clockwise until you hear an audible "Click."
- Power on and try the remote.
