Fan is wobbling

Your fan is wobbling at any speed? Follow these troubleshooting steps.

1. Turn the breaker OFF until troubleshooting is complete.
2. Verify the fan is installed using a standard mounting method. If not, ensure there is approval from a structural engineer for the mounting method being used. The use of Unistrut for mounting is only permitted on lengths of 2 ft or less (2 ft Unistrut included in the Wood Frame Mounting Kit). Only angle iron is approved for lengths greater than 2 ft. 3. Check that the fan is hanging plumb and horizontally level.
4. Check that all mounting bolts and airfoil/airfoil restraining bolts are properly installed and torqued to ft/lb specifications. See the installation guide for details.
5. Verify the airfoils are all at the same level — ensure one blade or more is not higher or lower at the tip than the others. If the spar tab that the airfoil mounts to is bent, a new motor will be needed.
6. If all of the above is correct, install guy wires.
