Fan needs a new Controller

Follow these steps to upgrade your Powerfoil X, PFX2.0, or PFX3.0 legacy digital keypad

1. Use the existing keypad to make the following parameter changes to the VFD: 02-00 = 3, 02-01 = 3, 09-00 = 1 (unique if BAFcon multi-fan), 09-02 = 1, 09-03 = 90.00, 09-04 = 4.
2. Turn off the power. Access the fan, remove the VFD cover, disconnect the CAT5 cable from the VFD’s RJ45 Port, and plug in the blue RJ45 Power tap.
3. Connect the (3) wires from the RJ45 Power tap into the following locations on the VFD terminal strip:
   1. Orange wire goes to DCM
   2. Black wire goes to DCM
   3. Red wire goes to 24v
4. Connect the CAT5 cable into the bottom port of the RJ45 Power Tap and replace the VFD cover on the fan.
5. Follow the printed instructions included with the BAFcon/WSC controller for mounting and start up on the new controller.
